What to Expect

A journey to discover the secrets of Amarone and the prestigious wines of Valpolicella, blending scenic landscapes, winemaking tradition, and authentic local flavors. This private experience will take you through vineyards and historic cellars, where you will learn about the winemaking process and enjoy a winery lunch featuring local specialties.

Tour Program

  • Pick-up with private car: Your tour begins with a convenient pick-up in Verona. A private car with English- and Italian-speaking driver will be at your disposal for the entire duration of the tour.
  • Visit to the first winery: Immerse yourself in the history and passion of a family-run historic winery. During the visit to the vineyard and cellar, you will discover the production process of Amarone, with a focus on the drying (appassimento) of the grapes and Valpolicella Ripasso. The visit ends with a guided tasting of Valpolicella wines, including Amarone.
  • Second winery with lunch: Continue your wine journey with a second winery visit. Here, you will delve deeper into the winemaking techniques and enjoy a traditional lunch paired with local wines. The menu includes cold cuts, cheeses from the Veronese Hills, a first course, and dessert, all accompanied by a tasting of four or more wines, including Amarone DOCG.
