Itinerary

Day 1: Discovering Verona | Private Guided Tour (2 hours – only exteriors)

  • 3:30 PM – Departure from the hotel to Verona’s city center.
  • Enjoy a private guided tour of Verona, exploring its historic streets and admiring iconic landmarks such as the Arena, Piazza delle Erbe, and Juliet’s House. Learn fascinating stories and legends tied to this unique city.
  • After the tour, enjoy free time to explore local shops and soak in the romantic atmosphere of Verona.
  • 8:00 PM – Traditional dinner at a local restaurant, featuring typical Veronese dishes (wine and beverages not included).
  • Return to the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 2: Valpolicella, Land of Fine Wines | Guided Visit to 2 Wineries with Lunch & Stop in San Giorgio di Valpolicella

  • 9:30 AM – Departure for Valpolicella with private transfer and wine expert escort. This hilly region is dotted with vineyards, ancient churches, and Renaissance villas. It’s renowned for its prestigious wines such as Amarone, Valpolicella Classico, and Recioto, crafted using traditional techniques.
  • Guided visit to a historic, family-run winery. Discover the secrets of Amarone production, from grape drying to barrel aging. The visit ends with a guided tasting of Valpolicella wines, including Amarone.
  • Transfer to a second winery for a guided visit and lunch. The winery lunch includes local cured meats and cheeses, a first course, dessert, and wine pairings from the estate’s production, including Amarone.
  • Accompanied visit to San Giorgio di Valpolicella, listed among “The Most Beautiful Villages in Italy.” Admire its Romanesque church and breathtaking views over the Valpolicella hills stretching to Lake Garda.
  • 5:00 PM – Return to the hotel and free time.
  • Dinner at your leisure and overnight stay.
